Joseph Millson was born in Berkshire in 1974 and has appeared in a number of films, TV series and theatre productions, which are described fully elsewhere on this site. He consistently receives amazing reviews for all his stage roles, and particularly the superlative RSC stage production of Much Ado About Nothing. More recently Joseph has been seen in the Bond film Casino Royale, the Doctor Who spin-off series Sarah Jane Adventures for the BBC, and an episode of ITV's Harley Street.
In this year so far, alongside stage roles at the Old Vic in Stephen Fry's Cinderella, at the Royal Court Theatre in Fear and Misery, and in Possessed at the Oxford Playhouse; Joseph filmed a couple of episodes of the second series of the Sarah Jane Adventures, as well as various guest star roles, including ITV's Midsomer Murders, to be broadcast at Christmas. An acclaimed role on stage at Stafford Castle as Hamlet in July, has been followed by filming another guest lead role in the BBC's Survivors.
Joseph has three films due for release in 2008/9; the Joe Meek biopic Telstar in which he has a cameo role, Wyndham Price's comedy-drama Abraham's Point, and a horror film by Jonathan Glendening called S.N.U.B!. He is about to record a radio series Brief Lives for Radio 4. and will then start filming an episode of series 2 of Ashes to Ashes.
