Michael Frayn farce 'Noises Off' opens tonight at the Phoenix Theatre in London. The play had a sucessful 40th anniversary tour last year, and transfers to London until 11th March 2023. 

In an incredibly fun piece of polished stagecraft, Felicity Kendal was an inevitable draw as fading star Dotty Otley, but was well supported by a vibrant cast, featuring a standout turn from Joseph Millson, as the bombastic lead actor Garry Lejeune. Tracy-Ann Oberman, Matthew Kelly and Jonathan Coy joined the madness in this masterful skewering of the theatrical world.

Noises Off: tickets on sale for West End run

Following a fantastic tour of Bath, Brighton, Richmond and Cambridge, with brilliant reviews, Noises Off will have a limited 8 week run in London's West End at the Phoenix Theatre. The celebrated farce by Michael Frayn opens on 19th January 2023, with Joseph starring as Gary Lejeune, and tickets can be purchased from the ATG website.

For comic greatness the evening belongs to Joseph Millson’s leading man; by the third act his exasperation and outraged disbelief as he heroically tries to rescue a play crumbling around him is little short of magnificent. Reviews Hub
