Joseph's role in the Channel 4 comedy is lecturer Matt Beer. Matt's slipped into a comfortable and, quite frankly, lazy existence, and is a total hedonist at heart. After years of practice, he's an expert in undetectable plagiarism, how to upgrade his accommodation and how to pull women for under a fiver. His office is off limits to anyone who isn't female and under twenty-five.
