A fabulous new trailer has been released for The Forsyte Saga which is currently running at The Park Theatre in London until Saturday 7th December. The Forsyte Saga Parts 1 & 2 have garnered some wonderful, and well deserved reviews reviews. Dont miss it!

The Forsyte Saga opened at the Finsbury Park Theatre on 11th October, with press night held on 19th Oct 2024. The reviews have been shared online, and they have been wonderful.

Fiona Hampton impresses as Irene, the young wife chafing at marriage to the wealthy solicitor Soames, played with calcified rage by Joseph Millson. His rape of her, which prompts the pivotal family schism, is rendered both shockingly and sparely. His menace is palpable, but so is the warped sense of honour that underwrites his sense of entitlement. Millson is stunning as Soames, but everyone impresses in a role-swapping cast of nine that feels like twice that many. The Times

The Forstye Saga parts 1&2 open at The Park Theatre in London this Friday 11th October, with Joseph Millson as Soames Forsyte. For those who cant get to London to see The Forsyte Saga, there is consolation. Joseph is featured in both parts of BBC Radio 4 production of Little Dorrit. 

Joseph will play Merdle in a dramatisation of the famous Dickens novel, with part 1 broadcast on Radio 4 at 3pm on Sunday 13th October, with part 2 broadcasting on Sunday 20th October.

It is finally October, and The Forsyte Saga Parts 1&2 open in previews at The Park Theatre, London next week: Friday 11th October 2024. Fans of Joseph Millson can see him play Soames Forsyte in both parts of The Forsyte Saga.

Joseph Millson returns to the stage at the Park Theatre Finsbury Park, London, this October, in a 2 part production of The Forsyte Saga. Joseph will be reprising his role as Soames Forsyte, last played for BBC Radio 4 in 2015/16. 

London, 1886. Wealthy solicitor Soames Forsyte is a man of property, and his beautiful wife Irene is his most prized possession. When he commissions an architect to build him a house in which to keep her, the cracks in their marriage finally begin to show, until something happens so shocking that it tears the Forsyte family apart.

Years later, Soames’ daughter Fleur is haunted by the family secret when history begins to repeat itself…
