This haunting, poetic drama stars Joseph Millson. Manfred, living isolated, high in the mountains, tortured and haunted by a dark crime, invokes spirits in search of solace but finds no peace.
If you missed Joseph's reading on BBC Radio 3's Words and Music programme 'Rule Breakers' yesterday, it is available for catch-up on iPlayer for another 29 days! The list of music included in the programme is on the website.
Joseph Millson and Naomi Frederick are the readers in this edition of Words and Music on the theme of rule-breaking, curated by New Generation Thinker Corin Throsby. With music by Monteverdi, Beethoven, Stravinsky and The Clash and words by Shelley, Byron, Virginia Woolf and Roald Dahl.
Joseph shared this photo of himself with Campus co-star Jonathan Bailey at the recording of new BBC Radio 4 drama 'The Forsytes'. Joseph hadn't revealed his character in the drama, but a tweet from another member of the cast tells us that he is playing Soames. No broadcast date yet for The Forsytes.
The Forsytes is a new adaptation of John Galsworthy's nine Forsyte novels, adapted for Radio 4 by Shaun McKenna.
