Welcome

Welcome to Joseph Millson.com, an unofficial website dedicated to the extremely talented British actor of stage and screen.

Joseph Millson was born in Berkshire in 1974 and has appeared in a number of films, TV series and theatre productions, which are described fully elsewhere on this site. He consistently receives amazing reviews for all his stage roles, including the superlative RSC stage production of Much Ado About Nothing, Stephen Fry's Cinderella, Hamlet at Stafford Castle, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour at the National Theatre, The Fairy Queen at Glyndebourne, and most recently in Judgment Day at The Almeida.

Recently on screen, Joseph has been seen in the Bond film Casino Royale, in Joe Meek biopic Telstar (cameo role), in both of the Doctor Who spin-off series Sarah Jane Adventures for the BBC, and in a number of recently broadcast guest roles; including ITV's Midsomer Murders, Survivors and Ashes To Ashes for the BBC. A Channel 4 comedy showcase pilot called Campus and the BBC 4 biopic Enid aired in November 2009.

Joseph can be seen in The Priory at the Royal Court Theatre until January 2010; he will then start rehearsals for his role as Raoul in the new musical Love Never Dies. An independent film Devil's Bridge is now in post production.

The Priory: Olivier Award noms

The Priory has been nominated has been nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award in the best new comedy category. The Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010.

Not sure if this article has been posted before from reviewer Matt Wolf summing up the 2009 theatre season, and specifically Every Good Boy Deserves Favour.

Joseph Millson made the first of three splendid theater appearances across the year as a political prisoner who allows himself to be broken down in front of his young son.

Joseph was in four stage productions last year - I assume the reviewer didn't count / see The Fairy Queen.
