An on-track incident that took the life of Ryan’s father, Kyle, has always lit a fire under Ryan to succeed in the world of motorsport – by any means necessary.

To promote the launch of his Kickstarter for the short film Care, Joseph Millson was interviewed by BBC Three Counties Radio this week, and the interview is available to listen again online. The interview begins from 1:20.

CARE. A SHORT FILM By Joseph Millson.

A short film that follows Michael as he struggles with a bitter divorce and his new status as an at-home carer for the elderly. Can Michael tune in to the wisdom and humour of Alan, the extraordinary man in his care, before anger and bitterness consume him.

CAST will include MICHAEL MALONEY (Belfast, The Crown, Young Victoria, Truly Madly Deeply, etc) and MICHAEL BEGLEY (Dr Who, The A word, Two Weeks to Live, Call the Midwife, etc.)

So what made this a good time to write the book?

“I’ve been writing it on and off for a few years and lockdown was a great chance to put the hundreds of hours in to get it finished edited and sold.

“It’s been a joy, the cheapest, funniest therapy I’ve ever known. “It’s not just for actors, it’s for anyone who might wonder what the reality of a real actor’s life is like, not the champagne and air kisses, but the graft.

Joseph Millson was interviewed a few evenings ago by Michelle Jordan on BBC Radio Berkshire chatting about Work And Other Four Letter Words, which is released on 4th February. The interview is available to listen again on BBC Radio Berkshire for another few weeks - begins from 2:45 mark.
