It has been announced today that Joseph Millson will return to the West End stage in Disney's musical stage production Mary Poppins later this year. Joseph will co-star as Mr Banks opposite Zizi Strallen as Mary Poppins. More news can be found on Broadway World, and the Mary Poppins website.

Singing sensation Petula Clark and Joseph Millson have joined the cast of the West End remounting of Disney's Mary Poppins. Ms. Clark will portray The Bird Woman, and will sing the classic Sherman Brothers tune, "Feed the Birds". Producer Cameron Macintosh has also hinted that Ms. Clark will be doing 'something extra' in the show.

Millson joins the cast as Mr. Banks, father of Jane and Michael Banks who gets an unexpected attitude adjustment during Mary's stay in his home.

They join Zizi Strallen, returning to play the title role following great acclaim on the recent sell-out international tour, and Charlie Stemp as Bert, who recently gave an award-winning performance as Arthur Kipps in Cameron Mackintosh's production of Half A Sixpence.

Tickets for Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Mary Poppins are now on sale! The musical, based on the stories of P. L. Travers and the original film, returns to its original West End home at the Prince Edward Theatre after 15 years, playing from 23 October 2019.
