Applications for this year's Joseph Millson Bursary will open on Monday 4 September 2017! Check out The Actors Centre website for more information, and watch the video interview with Joseph below! 

The Joseph Millson Bursary is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged 22 to 102, who has the desire to act but not yet had the means or capability to explore their potential.

The recipients of this Bursary (worth over £2000) will gain an introduction to the training that is needed to be a working actor, tailored support and mentoring and membership to the Actors Centre.

Apologia: Joseph Millson excels in contrasting Peter with Simon

A few new reviews for Apologia have been shared again this week, with kind words for Joseph's performances as Peter and Simon. Catch Apologia at the Trafalgar Studios until November. 

Originally written for two actors, the script has also been amended so that the brothers are now played by one actor, Joseph Millson, who excels in contrasting Peter’s self-confident directness with Simon’s subdued, more obliquely accusing manner – especially in his disturbing reminiscence of a night in Genoa when he was picked up by a man after his mother did not meet him at the station. The Official London Theatre website 'storyfied' Joseph's Instagram takeover from Saturday - embedded below, while a few more wonderful reviews for Joseph's performances as Simon and Peter in Apologia have been shared online yesterday. 

...the performances that impressed most were those from Laura Carmichael as an earnest Christian outsider and Joseph Millson in a dual role, playing the central character's sons... ...Millson shines, however, as the troubled Peter and the downright broken Simon, blood-stained and battered to the core. Since they're not meant to be twins, it's not exactly clear why Lloyd has chosen to cast just one actor in both parts, but Millson makes the choice work and seem like more than just a cost-cutting exercise.
