Stamboul Train: Graham Greene drama on BBC Radio 4 November 18th

Joseph Millson's latest recording for BBC Radio 4 will be broadcast tomorrow afternoon: Saturday 18th November 2.30pm - 4pm. An adaptation of Graham Greene's thriller 'Stamboul Train' by Jeremy Front, Joseph plays the lead role of Myatt. The Times describes it as 'properly exciting'!

Joseph Millson and Abbie Andrews star in a new, 80-minute, properly exciting dramatisation of Graham Greene’s tense thriller that is set aboard the Orient- Express in the 1930s. Danger and intrigue swirl round an assortment of passengers as the train thunders across a volatile Europe from Ostend to Constantinople.

8 Days That Made Rome: behind the scenes

An interesting article about making the Channel 5 series Eight Days That Made Rome has been shared on the Broadcast website, along with this great photo of Joseph Millson behind the scenes. Catch up with Joseph's Spartacus the Revolt episode on my5.tv if you missed it. 

We had just three days allocated to shoot the drama for each episode. Producing contemporary drama in a limited setting in this timeframe could be daunting enough. Throw in the additional requirements of a historical series (costumes, props, animals, specialist locations and so on) and the scale of the challenge quickly grows.
