A few interviews, performances and online chats have been shared recently, which are worth catching up with. Firstly is an audio interview with Three Wise Monkeys, the people behind feature film Tango One. Joseph chats about the book he has writen, as well as anecdotes from his career.

Finally, Joseph was a performer at a tribute to the NHS over the weekend. You can see Joseph's performance from around the 28 minute mark in the video below.

Season 4 of The Last Kingdom is now available to watch, released today on Netflix, with Joseph Millson's character returning as Aelfric. 

After the death of Alfred, the alliances between the kingdoms are fractured. Uhtred believes the timing is right to challenge his uncle Aelfric, played by Joseph Millson (Casino Royale, Banished), and take back his ancestral home, Bebbanburg. However fate shifts in a different direction, leading Uhtred to realise that his destiny is tied to Alfred’s dream of a united land. This, and Uhtred’s feelings for Aethelflaed, drive him back into the politics that threaten to break out into war.

Joseph Millson can currently be seen on stage in the West End cast of Mary Poppins as Mr Banks. Joseph recently shot feature films Dragonheart Vengeance which was released in the US on 4th February 2020, and indie film No Vacancies, while Angel Has Fallen in now on DVD. Joseph can next be seen on TV screens in The Last Kingdom series 4.

The Daily Express has shared an article speculating over a new season of The Last Kingdom, discussing which characters would be expected to return, if season 3 was going ahead. Joseph's character has been included. Nothing has been announced yet. Read the article in full on the Express website. 

Who’s returning to The Last Kingdom season 3?

Season three of The Last Kingdom is expected to be based on Bernard Cornwell’s novels The Burning Land and Death of Kings - the fifth and sixth books from his Saxon Stories series.

Going by the books, the new run of the BBC and Netflix show will see the return of central character and narrator Uhtred of Bebbanburg (played by Alexander Dreymon).
