A fairly recent review for Macbeth, shared after one of the Globe on Screen worldwide screenings, has been posted here, with kind words about Joseph's performance.
Millson is a youngish, dashing Macbeth, more sure-footed than usual these days with the verse and with plenty of moody fire and fierceness...
...Millson's Macbeth has plenty of dash and energy, a constant, rather starry suggestion of sex and an imaginative apprehension of the world which he cannot afford to enact but cannot keep under his skin either. It's a performance of Macbeth in the Prince Valiant-gone-wrong vein, most famously associated with John Finch in the 1971 Polanski film. And this actor will be a bigger and graver Macbeth, one with more weight, if he plays the role again in a few years' time.
